I've left out the whole Savio & Nani transfer as I couldn't remember if that was after Gudmundsson or whoever had surrendered us to the bank.

Re: David Sullivan Speaks
It's really surprising you'd rate The icelandics as better owners Johnson. They did almost exactly what you've constantly moaned about with the current owners.

They borrowed money from banks, their own banks wasn't it? Anyway they put us in all sorts of debt as a result. Which took almost a decade to pay off didn't it? Or are we still paying that off? Can't remember.

Tried to sign Ashley Young, got Boa Morte instead. Even paid out for Quashie instead of playing Noble. Or how about when they even tried to sign Adriano from Inter Milan in the summer claiming we were going to be playing Champions League football soon and instead we ended up with Henri Camara on loan and a mediocre campaign where our fans at time even booed the manager home and away. We had an insanely huge wage bill, was forced to pay off players and sell the young English players.

Oh yeah and as for intentions. They even wanted to move stadiums, to the Olympic park, and wanted to keep the entire running track and cover it with retractable seating. Unbelievable how you can say they were any good.

Then they got rid of Eggy, for his mental scatter gun high wages mental approach, and went with Scott Duxbury's FOOTBALL PROJECT, which was Zola, Nouble, and a court case for stabbing Curbishley in the back. Great stuff.

Fuck me even went against tradition with that kit, losing the blue sleeves, playing in claret socks that lost a sponsor half way through the season.

By the time they'd promised the fans Champions League football, we were in the Championship, still partly owned by a bank, because that was the only way to avoid liquidation and points from their time in charge.

The only thing from your typical Johnson on BERKS like moaning that's missing is that they never changed the badge. Unless that's all you judge it on? They never changed the badge.

Sullivan is s cunt...plain and simple

Totally embarrassed Adrian and Randolph''

Grow up Leroy, ffs. These are grown men earning a fortune. if it wasn't for Sullivan they wouldn't even be on these contracts. Two shithouse keepers who should actually be THANKING Sullivan.

He's about as West Ham as Johnson is if you look at where they mainly grew up.

Doesn't make either of them not West Ham though.

From that impeccable source Wikipedia...

"Despite being a lifelong West Ham United fan, in 1993 Sullivan bought into Birmingham City, with David Gold and Ralph Gold."

Re: David Sullivan Speaks
So why when they owned Birmingham did everyone know they were both WH fans? Was he pretending?

The thing you posted was about when he was a child in Wales, so clearly before he moved to Essex, and therefore before he supported WH.

Re: David Sullivan Speaks
Well i am sure the thai owners that won the league with leicester a couple of years back didn't grow up supporting the foxes, nor did the glaziers supporting man utd

But they all want what they own to do well?

I don't get the argument about who they supported as kids?

Gold lived on green street and has more money so are we going to accept him?

What is it with some that just have to find a way to dislike and moan about something to do with the club?

Sullivan finished his Higher Education at Watford Boys Grammar

Johnson 4:34 Wed Jul 19
Re: David Sullivan Speaks
Sullivan also tried to BUY IN to CARDIFF CITY whilst owning Birmingham but couldn't due to league rules.

He was also chucking his oar in about Ninian Park back in the day stating Cardiff should go for a groundshare on the Millenium Stadium.

So that's Birmingham, Cardiff and us who he's advocated and succeeded in not owning their own stadium.

Still, OtB claims he's a West Ham fan because Sullivan went to the same school he went to years later so we better all believe him and ignore things like what Sullivan has actually said.

All Sullivan said when he bought us was it felt like coming home, which is right isn't it seeing as he lived up the road.

Even with his name on them

Re: David Sullivan Speaks
No, he was just a Cardiff fan as a boy, as he said in that interview.

You have made up that just because he went to school in Hornchurch that means he's a West Ham fan.

That's because you are a known fabricator, OtB.

On The Ball 4:23 Wed Jul 19
Re: David Sullivan Speaks
He moved to Hornchurch aged 11 and went to my secondary school, Johnson. I'd imagine that's where he started to pretend to support West Ham in the hope he'd one day get to lie to all of us.

What you posted was obviously before that.

Re: David Sullivan Speaks
Hart does seem like a bit of a vanity project for Sullivan, and the shirt sales will come in handy. He's also managed to undermine the two current keepers on our books. Job well done.

Agree with Johnson, worst owners we've had and we have had some shockers! I honestly cant imagine any of our previous owners taking us to the Olympic stadium as it stands. Brown even had a stay or leave Upton Park vote, we voted to stay obviously.

Re: David Sullivan Speaks
From an interview with Sullivan in 2010:

"In the Penarth council house that was his childhood home, David Sullivan prayed for four things every night before he went to sleep.

To be a millionaire, to become the Cardiff City and Wales captain and to be a world champion boxer."

So, a Cardiff City fan who happened to go to Uni in West Ham country.
